CivicDataLab

CivicDataLab is an interdisciplinary research lab working at the intersection of data science, public policy, open source technology, and design. The collective develops digital public goods and data infrastructure to strengthen public finance accountability, judicial efficiency, procurement transparency, and climate disaster response.

Its major initiatives include co-developing Open Budgets India (making union, state, and city budgets machine-readable), Justice Hub (an open repository for Indian legal datasets), and open procurement analytics models to help governments and civil society audit public spending.
