Employment and Social Trends is the ILO’s flagship read on labour outcomes, including formal/informal employment splits, social protection gaps, youth transitions and productivity risks. For researchers in India, this report is useful for framing workforce trends that are not visible through a single ministry dashboard. It pairs well with PLFS and enterprise survey work when looking at employment quality, informality and decent work commitments.
