Restor

Restor is an open data platform for ecological restoration, developed by ETH Zurich’s Crowther Lab. It maps restoration and conservation sites worldwide, connecting each site with ecological data — land cover, biodiversity, soil carbon, rainfall, and temperature — from global datasets. For India, Restor provides a way to discover existing restoration projects, understand their ecological context, and connect practitioners. The platform is designed to make restoration transparent, data-driven, and collaborative. Site data is contributed by users; the ecological context layers are from global scientific datasets.
