Swaraj University

Swaraj University is an alternative learning community centred on self-designed education. Participants, called khojis, build individual learning plans around real projects, peer cohorts, reflection and apprenticeships with practitioners, rather than following a standard degree curriculum or examination sequence.

The programme connects personal learning with ecological responsibility, community life, livelihoods and critical examination of conventional education. It is not a degree-granting university in the conventional regulatory sense; participation involves an application process and programme commitments, which should be understood before treating it as a substitute for an accredited course.
