IDMC Global Report on Internal Displacement

The Global Report on Internal Displacement (GRID) is the primary annual reference on internal displacement, which is often missed by India-focused migration and welfare analysis. For civic groups, it helps separate conflict-driven displacement from climate-disaster displacement and links both to protection and service-delivery outcomes. In policy cycles, GRID is used to test whether claims on social protection and housing burdens are consistent with independent displacement data.
