Jagriti Yatra

Jagriti Yatra is a nonprofit programme built around a long-distance train journey through small-town and rural India. Participants meet social and business entrepreneurs, develop enterprise ideas and join an alumni network focused on employment and enterprise-led development beyond the largest metropolitan centres.

The journey is selective rather than an open public service: prospective participants apply, and programme dates, fees and routes can change each year. Its environmental connection is only one part of a broader portfolio spanning agriculture, health, technology, livelihoods and inclusive entrepreneurship, which is why Soochi classifies it primarily under work, education and welfare.
