MCA Company Statistics

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs publishes recurring summaries derived from the MCA21 registry. They describe new registrations, active and closed companies, authorised and paid-up capital, age, economic activity and geographic distribution, providing a useful administrative view of India’s incorporated business sector.

Registration is not the same as an operating establishment, employment or output, and filing status can lag real business activity. This public statistics area should also be distinguished from paid company-document inspection and restricted record-level MCA data. The MCA site sometimes blocks automated clients, so downloads may work in a browser even when programmatic access fails.
