Oxford Institute for Energy Studies

OIES publishes research on the economics and politics of energy markets and decarbonisation. Its programmes cover oil, gas, electricity, carbon management, hydrogen, China and the wider energy transition, with research papers, shorter commentary, a quarterly forum and podcasts available through the site.

The archive includes India-specific work on electricity markets, rooftop solar, clean mobility and gas-sector reform. The institute is independent and non-profit, but its research is not presented under a general open licence.
