Sahaja Samrudha

Sahaja Samrudha is a Karnataka farmers’ movement working to conserve agrobiodiversity and make ecological agriculture viable. It connects seed savers and organic farmers, supports community seed banks, conducts participatory research and seed festivals, and works on traditional varieties of rice, millets, vegetables, pulses, cotton and other crops.

Sahaja Seeds is the farmer-owned producer company and brand created to market traditional, organically grown, open-pollinated seed. Env Wiki’s old sahajaseeds.in link has since been taken over by an unrelated hybrid-seed business; this entry uses the verified Sahaja Samrudha and sahajaseeds.com sites so the historical listing does not send users to the wrong organisation.
