Vanastree

Vanastree is a women-farmers’ seed-saving collective in Karnataka’s Malnad region. It conserves traditional seeds and tubers from the Western Ghats’ forest-garden landscapes while supporting member livelihoods, local food systems and recognition of women’s agricultural knowledge.

Its work combines seed production and exchange with training, internships, community events and experiential education rooted in agroecology. The official site was recently indexed and describes continuing activity, but its domain did not resolve consistently during verification; the entry is marked dormant until the link stabilises rather than silently substituting a social-media profile.
